What a cliffhanger game this one has been for both the team i.e. aka Bangla Tigers and Delhi Bulls. Bangla Tigers set a stiff target for the Delhi Bulls of 129 runs from their allotted ten overs. A quickfire start has been provided by the openers of Delhi Bulls. Gurbaz went on playing a scintillating knock of 41 runs from 15 balls.
Unfortunately, Gurbaz had to depart after such quickfire innings. Gurbaz, having set the platform for his team, Bopara and Lewis continued from where he ended his innings. Bopara and Lewis played a complacent knock of 38 and 32 runs. Though Bopara’s innings of 38 runs came to a halt when Fazal Haque picked up his wicket.
In the end, it was Sherfane Rutherford with Evin Lewis who drove their home safely with 2 points to carry for the next game. Gurbaz was announced as the man of the match for his superb innings of 41 runs. DJ Bravo seemed very happy and relaxed as he told in the presentation that it is good to carry two points on the board. They are prepared to take on the Maratha Arabians in the upcoming match.

After winning the toss, Bangla Tigers chose to bat first. Their opening combination of Johnson Charles and Andre Fletcher put up a century partnership of 101 runs. At one stage of their innings, it seems like they will be putting up a magnanimous total of 160 plus but DJ Bravo put the brake in the run-scoring by picking up the wicket of Andre Fletcher. He was sent back to the pavilion for 32 runs.
Johnson Charles played a scintillating knock of 73 runs and anchored the innings till the end of 10 overs. Bangla Tigers managed to put up a mammoth total of 128 runs. Tom Moores went back to the pavilion for two runs. Now the question arises for the Delhi Bulls supporters, can their team chase down the stiff target of 129 runs with ease? All to find out in the second innings of the play. DJ Bravo and his men will try to chase it down and begin their quest in the tournament on a winning note.
